InterVivos is excited to announce the launch of its Winter 2024 Mentorship Program, designed to amplify the voices of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) volunteer mentors and showcase the inspiring work they’re doing in our communities. Registration is now open for protégés to join this empowering journey.
Why This Program Matters: The Winter 2024 Mentorship Program highlights the impressive achievements and diverse insights of BIPOC volunteer mentors. Through this program, interVivos provides protégés with the chance to connect with community leaders from a range of professional backgrounds, cultivating an environment where they can grow as inspired, trusted, and informed leaders.
Our mentorship program is built around the principles of diversity and inclusion, with a commitment to creating safe spaces for meaningful exchanges. By celebrating diverse identities and experiences, mentors and protégés engage in shared learning that strengthens their personal and professional goals.
Who Can Apply: This Edmonton-based program is open to everyone, regardless of gender identity, age, or experience level. Protégés do not need to identify as BIPOC to participate. interVivos encourages individuals from all backgrounds to join us in building a sense of belonging within our community.

Key Details:
Program Launch Date: The in-person launch event will occur in Epic Market (8115 Gateway Blvd #201) on December 3rd from 6:00 pm-9:30 pm.
Program Structure: The Winter 2024 Mentorship Program will run for six months, from January to June 2025.
Fees: The program registration fee is $65 (plus Eventbrite service charges), which helps us to continue offering meaningful mentorship experiences while keeping costs as low as possible. interVivos also offers complimentary spots for local non-profit organizations.
Program Launch and Matching: The launch includes a series of speed-rotations where mentors and protégés engage in short, focused conversations to discuss their goals and interests. Following the launch, mentors and protégés will rank their preferences, and interVivos will make the final matches using our unique algorithm.
